Health and safety is everyone’s responsibility. We all need to look out for the physical and mental wellbeing of each other. Our commitment to creating safe and healthy work environments is underpinned by our Covalent Lithium Health and Safety Policy.

Safety
Covalent Lithium is committed to providing a safe, productive, and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors. Health and safety is everyone's responsibility and we all need to look out for the physical and mental wellbeing of each other. Our Covalent Lithium Health and Safety Policy applies to all Covalent Lithium team members.
Our Safety Objectives
At Covalent Lithium, we will:
• Comply with all applicable legislation and standards relating to health and safety in the workplace.
• Provide the necessary resources and training to our employees and contractors and ensure they are aware of their accountability and duty to work safely, and to follow health and safety directions given by their supervisor.
• Ensure our health and safety objectives, targets and actions are established, reviewed, and integrated into our planning and decision-making processes.
• Seek continuous improvement in our health and safety performance via the development of KPls and by monitoring and reviewing our performance and systems.
• Ensure any workplace injuries are treated confidentially and fairly.
• Facilitate initiatives that support mental health and wellbeing.
• Ensure critical controls associated with our principal hazards are understood and processes are established to verify that the critical controls are effective.
• Regularly review, evaluate, and improve our Covalent Lithium Health and Safety Policy.
Our processes are developed in line with best practice and completed in collaboration with leadership teams. This ensures every Covalent Lithium team member understands their roles, responsibilities and priorities and works together to achieve our common goals. We are committed to continual improvement of our health and safety systems and processes.
Health and wellbeing
Maintaining a physically and mentally healthy workforce is critical to meeting our health and safety commitments and achieving our project goals.
Our health initiatives focus on physical health, nutrition, and mental wellbeing as pathways to reducing negative health outcomes. They also include the identification and reduction of occupational exposures to below prescribed limits, as well as fitness for work and fatigue management programs.
Meeting our health, safety and wellbeing goals and commitments will ensure the physical and mental health and wellbeing of the Covalent Lithium team, throughout the project and beyond.
